So That You Remember
I have a confession. Well maybe a couple...
I love pretty things in my home.
I stink at memorizing scripture.
I usually end up with post-it notes or 3x5 cards taped all over my house in an attempt to remember what I am supposed to hide in my heart. I love, love it when a ministry or blogger shares a lovely freebie with a verse on it. So, I thought, "why not make my own?"
Okay, one more confession...I didn't design this pretty little thing. I may have had the words, but my super talented & beautiful sister made it a thing of beauty. (Check out her creations at davisdesign.biz)
So why remember? Our hearts and minds are accosted on a daily, almost minute by minute basis with the subtle lies of the enemy. How will we know what's true if we do not cover ourselves in it?
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good & acceptable will of God.
Romans 12:2
We remember So That we may be transformed & renewed. We remember So That God's will may be proved. We strengthen ourselves and join in on the great things God is doing. And that's why I love this first postcard! (Yes, there will be more!) It reminds me of God's truth and that I am a part of His divine will.
